We are seeking a part time/full time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to work in our pediatric therapy clinic in Washington, DC.

Compensation: $72,500 – $85,000/year

Full Job Details & Application:
Education: postgraduate degree
Qualifications:
- Masterful Degree: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution; advanced experience a plus but not required.
- License to Heal: DC and/or Virginia state licensure (or eligibility). Position requires licensure in both jurisdictions.
- Experience: Pediatric therapy experience is a plus, but not required.
- Value Alignment: Collaboration, inclusivity, lifelong learning, accountability, credibility, and adaptability.
- Availability: Minimum 12–20 hours/week preferred for hourly clinicians. Full-time (30–40 hours/week in 5-hour blocks) also available.
Skills:
- Experience with language, articulation, fluency, pragmatics, praxis, oral motor, and feeding
- Ability to engage children and reduce behaviors interfering with learning
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for children
- Ability to work independently with critical thinking and objective decision-making
- Strong judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and iPad usage

Responsibilities:
- Provide client-based treatment
- Provide ongoing parent/family/teacher education
- Plan individual treatment programs based on client’s needs and adjust as needed
- Administer pediatric standardized assessments
Duties Require:
- Extensive standing and walking
- Lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients
- Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
