Skills on the Hill Social Explorers groups are offered for children and tweens of all ages and abilities!
These fun, therapist-led groups focus on building self-regulation, social communication, and sensory-motor skills through play, movement, and teamwork.
Each group meets once per week for sixty minutes for 10 weeks (same day and time) and is tailored to the developmental level of the group. Activities may include cooperative games, problem-solving challenges, and opportunities to practice flexibility, emotional regulation, and connection with peers — all in a supportive, engaging environment that encourages growth and confidence.
Groups are led by occupational and/or speech-language pathologists who have experience working with children in a group format. Lessons and activities are carefully curated to meet the needs of participants. Ideal candidates may include children who have received individual therapy in the past (OT, PT, Speech Therapy, or mental health therapy), receive or have received school-based therapy services or early intervention services, or who might just need a small group setting to feel comfortable participating.
