We’re thrilled to announce our next Book Buddies group for Kindergarten & 1st Grade children!

Book Buddies is a small-group, evidence-based literacy program led by a speech-language pathologist to strengthen the skills children need for reading and writing success.

Join this 5-week literacy group that uses multi-sensory, structured approaches (Orton-Gillingham, LiPS, IPA) to support both rising Kindergarteners and 1st graders as they embark on their literacy journey.

  • Rhyming, syllables, and sound blending
  • Story comprehension, sequencing, and retelling
  • Vocabulary and expressive language
  • Early writing and fine motor skills

How to Register?

Interested families can inquire by completing a Group Application Form. Our clinical director will schedule an exploratory phone or video call with you to ensure a mutual best fit for your child and family. Once you have completed this brief screening, a sign-up link will be provided to register and pay for the program.  This screening may be waived for current clients and/or clients who have participated in SOTH group programming within the last 12 months.

Disclaimer: Please note that all participants must be fully toilet trained and able to follow group instructions without individual support. Biting, spitting, and other acts of physical or verbal aggression are not tolerated; if your child has a history of aggression, we can provide alternative recommendations.
